Frequently Asked Questions

I have an idea for a Tattoo, can you draw a design for me?

Yes, we can work with you on your design, whether you have a rough idea, or something specific in mind.

Do I need to book an appointment to come in for a chat about my design ideas?

It’s best if you do! As we are booked up for appointments in advance, and don’t offer a walk in service, please get in touch with us to make sure we are available to discuss your design.

How do I book an appointment at Indigo Rose Tattoo?

It can be done at the time we arrange to see your design, or can be arranged over the phone or face book. To confirm  an appointment, you will need to call in to the shop to leave a deposit.

How much is the deposit & what is it for?

We take a £10 deposit to secure every booking, which is deducted from the final price of your tattoo. This protects us from any unexpected cancellations or missed appointments.
Appointments can be moved, but 48 hours notice is required, otherwise you will lose your deposit.
We also require a £10 deposit if we are drawing a design for you, which will come off the final price.

Can I get a price over the phone?

As it is difficult to get a full idea of the size & detail of a design over the phone, we usually ask you to come into the shop, or email your ideas to us for an estimate.

I would like a cover up, how do I go about this?

If you are getting a cover up, it is essential you come in and show us your original tattoo as we may need to take some photos and tracings. It is useful to bear in mind that cover-ups need to be carefully thought out to work well, so the more flexible you can be with regards to the size, detail & colours of your new tattoo, the better it will look.

Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring a friend along to the studio!

How do I look after my new tattoo?

As customers lifestyles vary greatly, we will discuss the best way for you to look after your tattoo during your appointment.
